This is an awfully clean Chevy Blazer.

Kinja'd!!!

It's Green!

And has the ZR2 package, making it more rugged and fun to throw around in the dirt.

And it has the same engine that's in my van.

What say you late-night Oppo? NPorCP?

Nice Price. As long as the 4x4 works, this little truck can easily tow a small trailer, dance around some trails, and then slog through the daily grind. It would be a fine second vehicle to anyone's garage if they needed some more utility and less sport. 3500 isnt a lot for what this is capable of.

Now the seller looks a touch shady and the lack of mileage is a bit disconcerting. If it has 200k on the original engine and trans........Weeeeeeeeelllllll......Then it becomes a bit of a CP due to the immediate need of major components. Unless it sells for like 1500-2000 then it's a "drive till it dies" bargain.

I think it's a just-starting-out dealer. Went on their website and there's only about 7 cars listed.

200k is just breaking in the 4.3L. Now the transmission might be another story.

Did they even sell the V6 with a manual?

Not that it matters, me not being able to drive stick and all.

i don't think the picture is working. it has one of those auto shifters that reeeally wants to look like it manual. it was an RCR referance

That's my only concern... even though it really doesn't matter on these trucks. I swear they last forever with basic maintenance.

They did sell a manual behind the 4.3, but they're quite rare. A V6, 5-speed ZR-2 is a damn unicorn. And I don't want to hear any of this, "I don't know how to drive stick" crap. You know how to learn? Wrong, you don't have a friend teach you. A friend will give you a 20 minute lesson, after which they will be sick of you stalling the car, and killing the clutch, and you still won't knoe crap. You buy one, and figure it the hell out, that's how you do it.

As for this Blazer, it does look clean as hell, but with no mileage listed, CP. Yes, they last forever, but they break a lot when they top 200k miles. Parts are cheap, but 4x4 S-10's aren't the most comfortable place to work. Then again, you have a Safari, so there's that.

NP as long as it's in decent condition and doesn't have a million miles. When it rains it pours as far as when they start falling apart. I actually looked at quite a few of these about 6 mos ago and every one that I test drove was complete shit. They either had a lot of shit broken on the inside or the engine had no power or the brakes didn't work for shit or the steering was hosed.

This looks to be a good example and the ZR2's are pretty desirable because of the suspension upgrades, while 90% of the rest of the car is a basic blazer. No mileage on the ad but definitely worth a test drive. St Louis is almost close enough for me to come test drive it!

NP as long as it doesn't have a crap ton of miles. But even then, there are several of these around here with well over 200k. In fact, a lot of them do rural mail delivery.
